The area’s abundant marine life and enviable visibility will have scuba divers wanting to jump in, again and again. The waters in front of the Dressel dive shop are fairly virgin when it comes to diving, which makes for unspoiled ocean bottoms with coral of surprisingly good quality. Above the water level, visitors will enjoy the hilly coast, dotted with plantations, which can be viewed from the dive boat.
Jamaica’s beaches and scuba diving were seemingly custom-made to ensure total relaxation. Like most tropical bays, Montego Bay is perfect for scuba diving. Moreover, certain areas considered a natural park are perfect sites for fish and divers to meet.

- The 08:30 a.m. departure offers divers the option of doing a TWO-TANK DIVE or a SINGLE-TANK DIVE.
- Divers on the 10:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. departures can only do a SINGLE-TANK DIVE.
- Departure times and dive sites are very unlikely to change, but may be modified in specifics situation (strong currents, weather, etc.).
- Morning dives leave at 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. and afternoon dives at 1:15 p.m. but please note that the meeting time is 30 minutes before the departure.
- We will always try to make sure you do not visit the same dive site more than once unless your specifically ask to do so.
- Most dive sites are approximately 10 minutes away by boat.
- All dives with Dressel are boat dives. There are no shore dives.
- Night dives are usually on Thursday but this day can be changed in function of preference and amount of divers interested.
- Pool sessions and dives for students are held in the morning and afternoon depending on the course module being completed.
