Playa del Carmen, October 1, 2022. The diving operator, Dressel Divers, and the certifying agency, Scuba Diving International (SDI), have created a unique world and intensive Instructor training program, which will begin in January 2023 in Playa del Carmen.
These training camps are born to meet the needs of students, industry, and diving enthusiasts. To do this, they will train professionals, offering fair, well-organized training practices and dedication to unrivaled resources.
The differentiating elements that characterize this program are:
- The training happens at the internship’s beginning and not at the end.
- Course Directors with a long professional career are the teachers.
- Effectively gainful internships.
Students selected by Dressel Divers and SDI will first go through a three-week boot camp on a half-board basis (bed, breakfast, and lunch). This formative stage will be taught entirely by experienced Course Directors and not by other Instructors, as other formations usually do. In it, they will obtain the necessary knowledge to become Divemasters.
Once the students are professionals, they will enjoy an internship to practice what they have learned. These paid internships will be in the different bases that Dressel Divers has in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica. During that time, interns will face real situations with clients, lead dives and learn first-hand a dive center reality, thus increasing their number of dives and experience.
Due to the large influx of clients that a reputable operator like Dressel Divers has, aspiring interns will be able to meet the requirements to qualify for the Instructor Development Course (IDC) in record time. Thus, after this time, they will return to the training camp to carry out their IDC and obtain their Diving Instructor certification.
A period of intensive training will prepare the elite diving professionals. Dressel Divers is so convinced of the quality of its program that it will offer its graduates the virtually guaranteed possibility of working in the company with a full professional salary, not as interns.
The first generation of Dressel Divers-SDI Diving Instructors will begin their training on January 23, 2023. The registration phase is open. Those who wish can be part of the selection process. If you are one of them, send your CV to the HR department of Dressel Divers (firstname.lastname@example.org ).
It is a renowned operator that has offered diving, snorkeling, and other water sports experiences since 1993. Also, it trains divers of all levels at its bases in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica. The company focuses its professional activity on its clients and professionals’ safety and has an unblemished record of 0% accidents in its almost 30 years of life.
