What will you learn in your SDI Divemaster Course?
Communication and soft skills.
So everyone gets you, both topside and underwater.
Respond and assist.
Your divers will be in great hands, and if anything goes wrong, you’ll know exactly how to respond and assist.
Dive physiology and physics.
Because if you don’t understand how this thing works, there’s no way you can do it right.
The keys to becoming a great dive leader.
Apply what you learn, and the divers you guide will be so happy they'll thank you, seriously. That alone will massively increase your chances of getting hired by Dressel Divers… or at least leave us really wishing we had.
The kind of mistakes any diver can make that could ruin the dive for the whole group.
Right after that, we’ll teach you how to avoid them, and you’ll never forget, thanks to “hell dives.” A tried-and-true method that always works.
The best, most reliable way to plan and manage a dive from start to finish we’ve tested it hundreds of times.
You’ll practice in the pool and in open water. Follow the steps, and you’ll become that Divemaster, the one everyone wants to dive with.
Boat diving, night diving, shore diving, drift diving.
You’ll learn how to handle each one with safety protocols based on TDI tech diving standards. The dive shop that hires you will be among the safest, and most trusted around. That will make you valuable wherever you go on your travels.
