MAYAN
TOUR
Full-day tour.
Make a friendship with the turtles in Akumal and enjoy the beauty of these freshwater Yucatan caverns: breathtaking limestone formations backlit by stunning light shows.
Excursion Program
1. Pick up at the Dive Center: 08.00 am.
2. Taxi from the meeting point to the Ferry dock at San Miguel de Cozumel.
3. 9 am ferry from San Miguel de Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen. New pick up in Playa del Carmen ferry dock, at Señor Frogs: 09.45 am.
4. Taxi to our Dive center in Playa del Carmen.
5. Transport to Akumal beach where you can observe sea turtles and many Caribbean fish.
6. Stop to have a snack.
7. Transport to Chikin-Ha, a cenote freshwater pond where you can observe stalagmites and stalactites formed millions of years ago.
8. Return: Around 04.30 pm.
Frequency: From Monday to Saturday
A minimum of 4 pax is required.
The Mayan Excursion Includes

NOTE
The usage of sunscreen or bug repellent is forbidden in the Cenotes.
If you plan to bring your camera on the excursion, please consult the dive center.
Bring a change of clothes and a towel.
You can use the cenotes’ facilities.
Excursion Program
1. 07:45 am meeting point at Señor Frogs in the Playa del Carmen Ferry dock.
2. We pick you up and transport you to Punta Sam (Cancún) and departure from the dock at9-9:30
3. Boat ride to the site where we encounter the whale sharks; app 1 hour.
4. 2-3 hours with sharks.
5. We eat ceviche on board near Playa Norte (Isla Mujeres).
6 Return to Playa del Carmen ferry dock between 04:00- 05:00 pm.
Frequency Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Other days are available upon request.

You can do both trips on the same day or on different days.
We take you to gorgeous sites known for their sponges, fan corrals, and brain corrals, full of colorful fish such as butterflyfish, angelfish, parrot fish, and more.
Excursion Program
1. Pick up at the dive center:
• Day Local trip: 01:30 pm.
• Night Local trip: 1 hour before sunset.
2. Short boat trip from the meeting point to the reef.
On the Day Local trip, we normally snorkel at these nice reefs: Columbia shallow, Palancar Gardens and El Cielo.
On the Night Local Trip, there are has options: Punta Dalila, Punta Francesa, Columbia Shallow, and Santa Rosa reef.
3. Return around
• Day Local trip: 04:30 pm.
• Night Local trip: 2 hours after departure approx.

NOTES
There is no minimum age.
It is the parent’s responsibility to look after the kids.
Reefs can change depending on coral reef conservation policies.
If you prefer to share the experience together with divers on their same boat, there will be 2 reefs to visit. Palancar Gardens and Colombia Shallow.

The Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program lets you experience the thrill of scuba supported by an instructor.
You will enjoy your vacations, diving to 12 meters together with a professional.
During your adventure, you will master scuba’s basic skills and concepts.
The DSD Includes a theory session (1h) + a practical pool training session (1h) + 2 ocean dives including equipment at 2 beautiful shallow reefs.
