SNORKELING
every morning we organize a snorkel excursion that offers you 2 fantastic snorkel sessions.
We will make a splendid boat trip of about 15 to 30 minutes to our objective.
We plan our snorkel sessions in such manner as to ensure that you will not snorkel the same reefs twice during your stay, unless specifically requested.
Without doubt you will enjoy an abundance of fauna and good visibility.
We offer different snorkel sites, among them the reefs of Sosua, to the south of Puerto Plata, with an ample variety of corals, and distinct species of fish like he Angel Fish and the Trumpet Fish.
The second area is located in front of Puerto Plata airport, at a distance of 15 minutes by boat from the beach of Iberostar. In this area you will encounter fish species such as those of the grouper family, red snapper etc.
If scuba diving it not your thing, this is definitely the way to observe under water life in a natural setting.
The practice of snorkeling does not require special training, only the ability to swim.
Besides the standard equipment, a mask with snorkel tube and fins, we provide snorkel jackets that allow you to float without any effort, relax en enjoy.
If you have a travel partners that is a diver, you go on the same boat.
